Der Aphorismus von Stanisław Jerzy Lec: "Am Anfang war das Wort – am Ende die Phrase" ("Na początku było Słowo – a na końcu Frazes", "At the beginning there was the Word—at the end just the Cliche") wird manchmal irrtümlich Karl Kraus zugeschrieben.
